Swiss SUP Flatwater Championships

Registration for FSC online

The Swiss SUP Flatwater Championships 2021 registrations are open! The Swiss Championships are for everyone, we have different categories for racers, recreational paddlers, juniors, and kids.

The fun race will be our race for all paddlers just wanting to be a part of it and enjoying time on the water. No race experience is needed to complete the 4km course. It’s a fun race so no race boards, please. Tandem, multi-person SUP, and dress-up are allowed too 😀 There won’t be a ranking, every participant gets a chance to win an awesome price by lottery.

In the short distance race over 6km, all paddlers not wanting to compete for the title get their chance to paddle too. There will be a podium for ranks 1 to 3.

Still not enough? Then compete for the Swiss title! We will have 3 mandatory races in the Swiss Championship discipline. A 12km distance race in the morning, sprint for 8 paddlers of each gender at midday, and the 6km technical race during the afternoon. A Swiss Champion title will be awarded for all 3 races each. For the distance and technical race, a Swiss Champion title is awarded additionally for Junior (u18) and Masters (40+) each.

For Juniors (16 and under) we will have an inflatable 12’6 race over 2km and for the Kids (12 and under) we will have a 500m course on provided boards.

Online registration will close on September 16th and is possible on site until 1h before the race. The first 100 online registrants will get our event T-Shirt for free.

We care about our athletes! “Paddlers first” is one of our mottos. There will be a specific area for athletes to rest and store their gear. Brands will be on-site and demoing their recent gear. Due to the pandemic, however, not all of their gear has (or will) arrived on time. The brands and we will do our best to provide a great opportunity to compare the gear. Race board testing is only available for competitors. Spectators will be able to test inflatable boards and all the other gear.
